This includes marketing of Industrial & Consumer Products, identification of Export Markets, Product Development & Adaptation, Export Pricing, Selection of Agents, and other distribution channels, Procurement for exports, settlement of Trade Disputes, Marketing Information System. The aspect of Physical distribution with emphasis on International Transport systems and various aspects of infrastructure for transport & physical movement of Primary commodities and manufactures.
b] International Business Environment
The areas covered under this include; world resources, Trade patterns & marketing Practices of developed market economics & the centrally planned economics, Regional economic groupings, International Economic Organisation like; WTO, UNCTAD, WORLD BANK, IMF, etc. It also include, growth of exports during the five years plans, Commodity composition, direction of India's Exports, diversification & structural changes, institutional set up for exports & analysis of growth items their problems and prospects.

The major areas covered under this are Export Licensing, Registration formalities, Exchange Control & Regulations, Export Finance, Exim Bank, Marine Insurance, Export Payment Terms, Export Contract, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation, Export House, Trading House, Star Trading House. Super Star Trading House, Quality control & Pre-shipment Inspection, Commercial Practices, Quota Policy, GSP, Export Promotion Councils etc.
